KayMarie Hey Rebekah...I was thinking the same thing. BUT, I can only assume that this product produces a double-eyelid effect. Some Asians don't have visible lids and this will help them be visible. I know when my mom was growing up (shes chinese), she said that her friends would all put scotch tape on their lids to keep them visible. IDK, its funny to me, but this is waaay better than tape :)
